Sometimes I wonder why I am so tired but then I started writing this post about what we did in the last month and no wonder...
We have spent this month getting the house "ready" We had a goal of our house being "show ready" as of February 1st, we didn't quite make that goal date but we also haven't found a new house yet so we aren't in too much of a hurry anymore. We still got a whole lot done, and I have lived in paint clothes for the past month six years. So in no particular order...
We start with before pictures of the vanity in the bedroom and the bathroom:
Finished painting around the front room windows because that was never finished after removing the windows for siding work a year and a half ago...
Oh! after picture in the bathroom!
Remember we added a pantry? A LONG time ago, and then we bought a door, I finally painted it!
We ripped out the carpet in the kids room, our room, and the living room in the basement. I also filled holes and touched up paint in all those rooms.

Oh, after of the bedroom vanity!
I finished cleaning, organizing, staging the kitchen...but it doesn't quite look this good at the moment...
The kids painted trains...
Bryce got stitches, whoops.
I painted over the VERY last of the black trim in this house.
Dietrich hated ice-skating.
The snow began to melt.
We built lots of Legos!
And played...

And then there was NEW carpet!
And Thisbe tore her cruciate ligament (similar to blowing out a knee).
Birthday Parties!
We also completely gutted and then sheet-rocked, textured and painted the "play room" in the basement and there are no after pictures because we immediately filled it full of furniture so we could get new carpet in the living room. Bryce has put up new trim in 3 rooms and the hallway, I have painted doorways and touched up paint EVERYWHERE. All in a month, no wonder I am tired (and sick AGAIN). Today we go to look at house number 12...everyday we are getting closer to finding Our "New" House. And every day we are getting closer to getting this house DONE. It's hard to believe what we have done in 6 years, will we do it again?
