Well Christmas has been here! It was a wild a crazy week of preparation and travel to my mom's house. We arrived Thursday afternoon for the company potluck at the Dam, which has been a family tradition for a long time now. Thursday night we headed to Grandma's house where ALL of my aunts, uncles, cousins and second cousins were gathered. The rest of the weekend was a whirlwind of family, food, and gifts! Here is my favorite gift of all:
Dietrich was actually pretty into the whole gift thing. Not so much the opening, but he did like the new toys and books.
Uncle Paul found a metal Tonka truck for Dietrich and even painted his name on it.

A good time was had by all and now we are resting up and trying to get this house back in some sort of order!
